The future of this project includes two main goals. There is still a lot of content that I want to add to the game, and a lot of work to be done towards expanding to other platforms and reaching a broader audience. I am working very hard to achieve both of these goals in the future.
As far as content goes, future planned updates will bring, not in any particular order, the following : An improved traveling mechanism. USB drop and USB hot plug attacks. Infiltrating into buildings of businesses in all 150 cities. Advanced special hacking devices such as Wi-Fi pineapples, LAN turtles, etc. Mobile phones and laptops for hacking remotely. Bank hacking. Industrial Hacking. Cyber Warfare. Custom Exploits. Using proxy chains to bypass detection when connecting to a corporate network using the port listener. Many different types of SCADA attacks, ranging from industrial machinery to advanced military infrastructure like hacking into satellites and intercontinental ballistic missiles. And much, much more! All of this accompanied by a set of fun and exciting missions and tutorials of course. All this will be translated as well into all the languages the game already supports, as well as adding many new languages.
As for the second goal, my plans include expanding first to the iOS market, and then to the PC market with a specially adapted version published via the Steam store. After that, I will start considering other platforms such as consoles like X-Box and PlayStation, and of course hand held devices such as the Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck etc.
Once all of these goals are achieved, development will start for a sequel, The Lonely Hacker 2. In this sequel I plan to push the envelope with an improved UI design, improved gameplay mechanics, a storyline, a multiplayer mode and many other improvements based on the lessons I have learned so far and also on the new capabilities that future devices will offer as technology advances.
Thank you for your support and patience! This project would not be possible without you!

I work very hard to release a new update once a week so you can always be up to date with my work and enjoy all the new content that I am adding to the game as soon as possible, though sometimes it can take up to 2 or 3 weeks for an update to be released, reviewed by the Google Play team and published. As an independent developer it takes me a lot of time to take care of all the aspects of the game, not only programming and design but also aspects like publishing, distribution, translations, marketing etc. I would like to take advantage of this opportunity to thank you for your patience and support!
The goal of The Lonely Hacker is to be as accurate as possible while still being fun to play as a game. All the techniques are 100% realistic, all attacks have a realistic base and can be executed in the real world. Of course, the game simplifies many aspects of hacking in general, removing the tedious and time-consuming parts while keeping the attacks as realistic as possible. In reality, these attacks can take much longer to perform and the results and success rate might vary. The game also introduces a more hollywood-esque design to some of the attacks, for entertainment purposes only.
